Another "Why I'm Not Shooting" Excuse

Just watched our local weather report on TV. The guy said the last time our nighttime low was below 80° was July 1st.

Well... I have a rogue woodchuck that ate about 1/4 of the row of Kale I have in my garden. I can't seem to catch the little b**tard in the act but when I do, he's getting a .22 mag hollow point in the beaner!!

Time for a couple of snares along that row BPS.

I'm pretty sure snares are illegal in PA except as water sets......:rolleye0011::rolleye0011:

I love greens and I think Kale greens are great!! I also grow a LOT of beets each year just so I can harvest and eat the beet tops for greens. I also eat Mustard and Turnip greens along with a host of edible wild greens like Nettle, Purslane, Lamb's Quarter, Garlic Mustard, Dandelion, Poke, Broadleaf Dock, Plantain, Galinsoga, (quickweed) and others.

The wild greens are much higher in essential vitamins and minerals because they evolved as plants that can extract from the soil the nutrients they need without the benefit of commercial fertilizers.

Side note...
Purslane is higher in Omega 3's per serving than wild caught Salmon and it grows in my garden every year!!! Ya can't beat weeds for nutrition if you know what to look for!

I think he did something wrong and is being punished!!! Even though I do like beets, not the greens!!!
