Selway: Slide on or quick detach?
 

Anyone of you have opinions regarding this quiver? I'm looking at the leather hooded model. It would be nice to have the quick detach, but I heard that they can come loose or strip the thread?
Any thoughts?

I bought the quick detach Selway and hate it. It is difficult to remove with arrows in the quiver, the absence of some sort of connection between the 2 halves caused the quiver to slip into the fade out area of my bows. IMO, these are the worst on the market. I bought a German Ridge bow quiver and although I had to modify it to fit my checkmate, it works well. I like to remove my quiver when I reach my stand. This quiver is a lot like the old Bear bow quiver. I have a friend who seems pleased with the Great Northern but the rubber band model is hard to take on and off. Dick

I have always had a problem finding a quiver that didn't have some kind of little problem or need to be modified. This was on the trad. and wheel bows I have owned. I finally bought a Cat quiver, took off my fanny pack, and though it might not be perfect in all situations have been very happy with it. This is just an option you might want to think about. Don
