super grizzly recurve
 

i am wanting to get into traditional bow hunting this year and was wondering what is your opinion on buying a used bow off Ebay

This will be my first bow it is a Super Grizzly recurve by Bear it has a 40# draw and the bow fishing insert

any opinions are welcome

i have a 50lb super kodiak and love it. fits me well.

Check it out really good make sure there is no cracks, and if you get it pull it back slowly and lisen really close for any noise ( have a friend help ) other then that. good luck. Bear bows are really good shooters for your first one. Then comes custom bows.

Check the sellers profile--be sure they have positive feedback. I've gotten good deals on e-bay, but you can get stung there also. If the bow is in good shape, and you can get it for a reasonable price, it sounds like a winner.
