I was recently thinking about getting into traditional hunting,I have been hunting with compounds for years and am looking for a new challenge.Do you think getting Black Widow would be a waste of money for a beginner?

Can't go wrong with any of the Martin products I currently have a Martin Savannah, and have shot the Mamba and Hunter recurves, both are very nice. Also check out the Chek-mate bows, My daughter just got her Hunter I and it is a very nice, smooth, fast and quite bow. Chad can help you out if you decide to go that route.

I guess it would depend on your pocket book. If it puts a nice big dent in it, then I'd say maybe look into getting a used bow (Bear is a good choice). After shooting it for a while, then make the decision to go with something different if you choose.
