Best color for fletching on hunting arrows

OK, is there any opinions out there on the best colors for fletching on hunting arrows? What and why?

I like to use a yellow cock feather, with white hen feathers.

I use all white, but I'm shooting 4 fletched arrows. easy to see going down range under most situations. Nothing pretty though.

I like bright colors--currently my hunting arrows have chartruese or yellow fletchings with the same color nocks. Some have a matching cap, some are painted from one end to the other. The reason is I want to see where my arrow goes, and if it has blood on it I want to see it. Some of the places I hunt are pretty shaded even when the sun is high, and when the sun is coming up or setting, they are dang near dark--bright arrows really help here. I'm not worried about the deer seeing them--IMO if the deer is looking at your arrow, it's already seen you.

Mine have a white cock feather and red hens .
Visibility is good and the white cock will show any blood .

I like bright fletching, but don't use white anymore. I figure that white is an alarm color to deer (ever see em "flag" as they run from danger?) & I'm afraid other hunters may associate the color too closely with deer. You never know who could be in the woodlot & I prefer not to be mistaken for a prey animal.

Blue shows up good on the forest floor to me & yellow is very visible in flight, so I prefer mostly blue cock & yellow hen fletches/nock these days.

White shows up the best in flight and easiest to see blood on and evaluate.;)

I like white because they will show up in the leaves when you miss. As a test take a bunch of differant collored pcs. of construction paper and place them in the leaves simulating a pass through or a miss. then see what color shows up best.Of coures if you are shooting in the snow you do not want white, maybe red or orange try it and see.

I like yellow, orange, and chartruese green. On my small game and stumping arrows I normally go with all orange stain and orange fetahers or all yellow. I shoot in the snow too much to use white. The bright yellows and oranges really stand out in the snow.

It almost never snows here in MS, and I still like the bright colors better. I shot all white for a few years, but learned I can see bright colors much better, both in flight and on the ground, especially when the light is low.
