chek-mate firebird

Have a chek-mate firebird i am going to put on ebay, but how do you know what kind of wood it is, so i can list it properly.
Can you tell if you give the serial number to the bowyer or not? Can you tell just by looking?

Any advice would be helpful!

Send me a picture and I can probably tell you. Chek-Mate doesn't keep a record of the woods used in a particular bow, so the serial number won't help.
