First someone who is familiar with aluminum arrows would need more information to even get you in the ballpark. What you draw on a compound won't tell what you draw on that particular recurve. Is it an old Bear or new one? What kind of string? What weight points? This information is needed to just get you close. Only you can find out for sure due to variances in the individual.

This type question gets asked a lot here, and you could probably find what you need by doing a search and looking at the other threads.

You're going to need 2016's ,Manboy. Try both 125 and 145 grain points to see which gives the best flight.

I shoot a recurve at a 29" draw. When I shot 50# I used 2018's. They flew well with target points or Bear razorhead broadheads.

Too bad wasn't nobody on the forum to answer the feller's question... Hope he didn't get so mad he doesn't come back.[&:]

Alright. Fess up! Who was on duty this weekend? I know it wasn't me 'cuz I was busy whittling on a board to make a new bow.[8D]

I was looking for a river to fish- trout season opens on the 3rd of April here in England. Just around the corner, practically.

I shoot pretty much the same setup, and I have chosen to go with legacy 1916, at 30-31 inches. These arrows work for me. When I shot a compound, I pulled 29 inches with ease, and had no problems shooting, but with a recurve, I now pull anywhere from 26 1/2 to 28 inches. I am also shooting zwickey 125 grain heads, with 42? grain adapters. The field points and broadheads both fly beautifully. Black widow sells the 1916 shafts, otherwise they are kind of hard to find in a legacy arrow.
