cabelas wood arrows
are the ones they sell on thier website and the catalog good arrows?
thoughts? |
RE: cabelas wood arrows
I don't think I've used Cabela's for wood arrows, but my experience with other big "got it all" places is they don't put nearly as much personal attention into wood. Most likely the shafts were electronically spined and weighed, which can mean big variances. Not usually as good a quality shaft either. I like smaller shops, expecially for wood shafts--Rogue River Archery, Raven, or Lone Wolf come to mind.

Totally agree with LBR on this. The spine can be good but weight variance can be more than 50 grains.

they claim to be hand wieghed and spined...we'll find out tommorow!

RE: cabelas wood arrows
If they are hand weighed and spined, and have good grain (very few run-outs), you should be good to go. I didn't even look at the catalog, just assumed--sorry. Had one too many bad batches of shafts from some of the big places.
Good luck! Chad |
