Instinictive shooting and bow poundages

If you learn how to instinictive shoot on a 40lb bow will that skill follow over to a 50lbs hunting bow? Or would you have to re-learn on the 50lbs'er?

I did just that , and the adjustment was very minor .
I went from a 40# Shakespeare Wonderbow to a 50# PSE Kudu over the course of about a month to avoid straining anything and to build up my arms .

Once you get your basic form grooved with the light bow, which is an excellent thing to do, then that skill transfers to all other bows. You only have to adjust your eye to account for different trajectories. Generally, unless you shoot carbon arrows, arrow weight will increase with bow weight, so there won't be any huge differences in trajectory.
