Traditional Turkey Hunting

WEll, after everyone's advice and help I am finally shooting very well at 25 yards. Always in the kill zone on a deer 3d target. I am flecthing my own arrows, using feathers and shooting off the shelf instead of the rest. so thanks for all the help.

Has anyone here turkey hunted with thier trad bow? My dad asked if I would like to go hunting with him. He said he would do the calling and I would do the shooting. I thought it might good preparation for deer hunting next fall. Any special procedure's or gear etc. for bow hunting turkeys?

I also though I might do some squirel and rabbit hunting with it, just to get used to handling the bow in the woods, and judging distances etc.

I've hunted turkey a lot over the years with my stickbows. I've actually peed on a turkey hen who was hiding in the bush I chose to water, but have never yet shot a turkey with an arrow. If I ever get one, then maybe I can finally call myself a bowhunter. [&:]
