RE: Ferguson or Welch?
17th world ranking? Who told that lie? I've placed as high as 9th in some "World Championships", but I think it was a big stretch calling them that. Shot at some of the same ones Rick has shot at. He is a heck of a good shot, but I know at least a few of those "world" titles are a bit misleading.

RE: Ferguson or Welch?
Excuse me, Chad, I thought, I remember someone saying you were 17th.
Ninth ? Dang, that's too big a hurdle ! I need more practice than I thought. ;) Sag. |
RE: Ferguson or Welch?
Shoot--that's nothing! I usually come in first at the "LBR Back-Yard World Championship"! ;)
Just so nobody here actually thinks I'm a good shot, I've never competed in a sanctioned shoot. Even at the bigger ones I go to, sometimes the better shooters show up, sometimes they don't (obviously they don't when I place in the top 10). The ones I go to are unofficial, usualy put on by clubs or state organizations. I'd still like to shoot a few rounds with you Sag--just don't laugh at me when I screw up![:@] Are you gonna make it to Twin Oaks, the Kentucky Klassic, Cloverdale, or some other big ones this coming season? RE: Ferguson or Welch?
Chad,
Cloverdale would be the best bet. Doesn't conflict with my compound shoots and it's not too far from home. ;) Sag. |
RE: Ferguson or Welch?
Sounds like a plan! I've been there the last two years, but haven't seen the course yet--I guess it's about time I get out there! I'll be easy to find--first big tent, second vendor down from the front, between Bob Morrison and Mike Treadaway. See you there!
