buck of a lifetime
 

I saw the largest buck I have ever seen in my life on Saturday. I didn't even know bucks of that caliber were in my area. The beams on this monster were thicker than my wrists and I could have sat in the basket and the antlers would not have touched my sides. Unfortunately, he was 80 yards away and me with my longbow. I had some doe-in-heat out but the wind was wrong and he couldn't smell it. I tried to grunt but he apparently couldn't hear me due to the wind and him walking in the dry leaves. Maybe if I had my rattling bag with me.....who knows.

I know where I will be for the rest of hunting season, LOL.
