That's just something you'll have to play with. Add weight until the arrows shoot down the line you want.

I know guys that have gone to brass inserts, brass weights and stainless steel points - built up nigh onto 400 grains total in the nose of their arrows, some of 'em! - to get spined out properly with carbons. Very tip heavy arrows but they fly suprizingly well.

Hopefully you won't have to go that extreme.[&:]

RE: Arrows for trad. bows.

Hey

I messed around with my rest and shooting form , keeping my wrist low.

And went over my release point and other common factors. The carbons now seem to fly like darts. And 125 and 100 heads arent much different.

Stupid me, i should have checked my form and how longbows are properly shot. All this arrow stuff, i think was premature.

So next time ill read a little more and remember my form and release., atleast it was a good lesson learned, check everything, i mean everything before you get to the arrow.

Thanx for all the help, and listening to all my babbeling.

When all is lost, study Asbell and howard hill material, will lead you to the target!
