Bowhunting Missery

Well this is year two of not bowhunting, I chose not to last year due to my Military move to England, and wish I did go, but I didn't want to have to give away the meat, and that in all truth wouldn't have been a bad thing, So while I have 3 years left, and the wife saying no trip back to the states (can't bring back the meat either), I will get plenty of practice and testing.

Reading the hunting stories from people is great:D, just wishing I could be out there also.

I feel your pain. I too am in the military, but stationed in California's central valley. Since I only have access to public land, the deer hunting out here sucks. Besides that the season dates here are during the dead heat of summer when not even the insects bother moving around much. Anyway, this is my second year of no hunting. Thankfully I retire next year and will be heading back to the holy land of cheese (Wisconsin . . . . go Badgers!) and will be out chasing those big Whitetails.

Dathein, I know a great place to hunt in Zone D-9 by Bakersfield, if you want to know it, e-mail me [email protected], shot my 3X2 mulie up there 2 years ago with my Martin Vision, and also Vandenburg AFB is another great spot for deer.
