Need some help on buying traditional bows
I am going to buy traditional bows for my 2 daughters. They are just starting to get serious about shooting. I shoot a compound, but, it's too hard for them to pull back.
How do I know what is the best bow to buy...What are some points that I should look for? My girls are 9& 13 years old.... thanks.. |
RE: Need some help on buying traditional bows
You can go with a custom job, but what I did with my son was buy him an Internature bow (AIM) Bullsye model. They have limbs from I think 15 pound to 35 pounds. FS Discount archery I think carries them.

you might try www.women-outdoors.com/traditional
go to the classifieds off the main page, its usually loaded with bows. Post a wanted ad on there. Like I said early about aim, the amount of goof ups (including kids bows), I wouldnt spend the money. They can be good bows if you have the opportunity to pick through them. The quality control is just that bad! the first question I would have for you is how much are you wanting to spend on one? |

Thanks for your input guys.....
I would spend $50. - $100. on each bow..... I don't want to invest too much. I know they are going to want a compound once they are strong enough to pull one back. But, I want them to have experience with both kinds. |

I know they are going to want a compound once they are strong enough to pull one back. Good luck on the search. Congratulations on your kids even wanting to shoot a bow. Keep it fun. |
