New Hunter II

Just got my brand spankin new Hunter II from Chad. Cocobolo riser with yew limbs and a birdseye bocote lam . . . . beautiful piece of work.:D I'm dying to shoot it, but I have to let the barge cement dry overnight (just put the sealskin on the shelf).

Tomorrow it's out to the back yard for the first shots, YEEHAH!!

I'll post pictures in a couple of days.

I dunno how it shoots, but man alive that thing was pretty! Vic, did I send you the pics of that Longhorn--the special order one? It's on the way to the owner--he should get it tomorrow, or Monday at the latest.

Be nice to see some pic's.

What is the grip like? Is it wide or narrow. High wrist? Thumb groove?

Does the Hunter or Hunter II have the highest brace height?

Mhogan, you can get the grip made to your specs, except the riser design of the Hunter II won't allow for a real low wrist. They don't normally have a thumb rest like a Fedora, but they do have a thumb groove. Brace on the Hunter II is usually a tad higher than on the Hunter I, but it can vary a bit with shooter preferance.
