Ben Pearson Cougar

Hey,
My name is Mark Sherer. I've been into bow hunting with compounds for a long time now, and i thought i'd try something new. I have recently been looking to purchase a used recurve, just to mess around with and get used to before i step up to a nice, newer model. I found a Ben Pearson Cougar 7050 for sale that i could get for $40. Does anyone know about these or have any advice? I really appreciate your help and thank you very much,

Any time you can get a recurve that's in decent shape for $40, snap it up. Ben Pearson made some good recurves in their day.

Hey, i also found another Ben Pearson Cougar that is in awesome shape, almost looks brand new! It has a brand new Zebra string on it and a brand new Neet arrow rest. The guy is asking about $60 for it. Sound like a deal? I really appreciate your help, thanks a lot!
