Dad made me sit in at Dan Fitgerald seminar!
Had to watch a seminar at Outdoorama. I now know I hate the man (D F). Worst thing I ever watched. Every shot he took was a bad angle, and the arrow didn't penatrate halfway. He stood in the way the whole time. He was stupid. Aggghhhh!
Sorry, just venting.
NEWSFLASH!
My tuck is getting it's front suspension rebuilt, and my dad said if he wouldn't have had to pay for that, he would have bought me a longbow! Another AGGGGRRRRRHHHHH! Stupid truck!

I think I'd like to see this guy so I can form some type of opinion. It don't matter how good a shot someone is, if they're exibiting to the public, espcially to young potential bowhunters, they need to teach it all. Not just the accurate shooting.

I saw him do a seminar several years ago & wasn't impressed by his wit or even baffled by his BS. His "shooting a compound instinctively" demonstration on a Mckenzie deer target was considerably less impressive. Glad ya didn't have to sit thru the whole ordeal Tox.

Thats why I avoid those places. Kalamazoo and the several big events such as the GLLI more than make up for what I am missing. I do all my one stop shopping at trad archery gatherings to save on shipping.

ChessBum...He's a video hunter. He's done some good videos, but he does/says some questionable things in my opinion.
He made 2 videos that I can remember. One was "Passing Through" on pass-through shots. Another was "Down for the Count" on spine shots.
One thing I did like was that he wasn't a "trophy" hunter. He hunted deer. I don't mind trophy hunters...but it's not for me.
