I'll let you know in a few weeks. I'll try to get them on the ground but if they fly I might take a shot.

I killed a couple pheasant and some quail on the wing with an old Black Widow recurve some years back and have killed a few quail on the wing with a couple of the bows I shoot today. I try and keep my shots on the ground though.

were you using regular arrows or the fluflu (sp?) I have seen a couple guys shoot pheasants with bows when i was guiding at preserves and i am looking for more info on bird hunting with trad gear

i'm alwasys missing them with my shot gun so ii figure i can do the same with a bow ;)

Some flu flu's. But when hunting a ranch up north, I just used my deer hunting arrows. Had plenty of open area, so it was safe to do so.
