Wild Cherry stump - what to do with it ?

My father in Law had a wild cherry tree cut - 30" at the stump. If I get that stump dug up, what could I use it for ? I thought as pretty as cherry is that the stump/root core might be a gorgeous curly, burled piece of wood.

Bow riser, gun stock, knife handle - what could I use this for ?

end table, foot rest night stand ! I think it would look nice as a gun handle or a knife handle also!

Make all of us knife handles. You probably shouldn't make one for COB cause it seems everybody hates him and tells him to shut up, and he might get violent?

I've had 2 of cherry stumps knocked out by cars. So I just leave them be for protection.

I'd say all of the above would work great. 'Course, that's a pretty big piece to cure. You'd have to cut it up into smaller pieces. Curing time gives you lots of time to decide on its fate.

It needs to be chipped, dried & sent to me so I can smoke the rest of my salmon.
