Vic, stay out of this.
My BW is 1995 too. Good year. There should be no vibration.
Stay out of car wrecks and maybe try the Mountain Muffler to quiet the noise.
The BW's strong suit is they shoot well.

Was there a 'bad year' for BW? If so I haven't heard it. Every one I've shot has been a shooter, well the recurves at least.[:-] I do know that they tweeked their recurve limb design a bit in mid or late 2000, & IMO was an improvement, but the "pre-2000" limbs are great too & some even prefer em.
Anyhow, I'm a firm believer in SVL Limbsavers on any of my hunting recurves. They're butt ugly but really work quite well, & I could never have a bow TOO quiet, at least not for these lightening quick/constantly paranoid Ky deer.
BTW, bite me mhogan. Hehehehe!

arrowsmit - I was in a pretty bad car wreck on Tuesday and though I did shoot her 15-20 shot this week my neck doesn't feel like shooting it anymore - or any of my other bows either. I'm going to Denver this week and will shoot it more when I get back. I do really like it though ..... hard to say how much compared to my longbow, but I'm not looking to trade it which is very unusual for me Heck I didn't even try the 59# limbs or do anything other than string, shoot a few carbons, unstring and hang it up.

I bought the same bow. (1995 SA II Greybark at 63# @28 and love it. My first recurve. My first bow period actually. Got mine for $550 with arrows, a case and a Fred Asbel book though.
