Well when I ordered mine, I asked for 55#, got 56# but I'd take anywhere from 50-60. I know with the earlier ACS's he had a hard time getting them within the proper poundages, but I'd imagine by now, he would have them all worked out.

Bob, according to OL the newer 'CX' ACS limb (no glass, 'boo & carbon only) takes a completely different set of recipes & I'm not sure if he has all that completely worked out yet...but my bow's gonna make weight...I just KNOW it's gonna...no doubt...absolutely...

...MAN I SURE HOPE IT DOES!!! Hehehe

Wow, I just noticed that OL is no longer taking anymore orders. Good thing you got yours in.

Yep, he quit takin' em. Looks like the ACS is the "hot" bow right now, & he's swamped w/orders... I guess the deal w/Morrison didn't slack OLs orders up as much as he wished & I reckon he's trying to get caught up some. Even as much of a backlog as he has, it's still a very upstanding thing for him to do IMO. Not everyone would just quit taking ppl's deposits & I (for one) am impressed by that.

Sounds good Vic.

Right now my favourite bow is my Wesley Special (man I like this bow) followed by my Martin bushmaster which would be a keeper if it were 2 inches longer.

Well it's here!!!

Karen & I just got our matching Adcock longbows in the mail today! Now I don't dare open hers, but I've spent most of the morning shooting mine & WOW!! I was amazed at how easily the bow tuned. 64" & 54# @ 30", "Thumper" shot a wide variety of fletched arrows very well, but absolutely loves 80-85# RRA tapered cedars! An 84# bareshafted nicely & the fletched ones fly like darts! Broadheads tend to slice fletching off of field point arrows in the target butt. [:'(][8D]

I'm extremely impressed w/this bow, it exceeds all of my expectations, & I admitedly was expecting a lot. This one has it all; smoothness, speed, stability, quietness, & shoots right where I'm looking. So far the Bevelok is great too, it's my 1st one & after a few hundred shots today it held together fine. Heck, looking at it or shooting I can't tell it from a 1 pc bow.

Bob, I'd post some pics but my 'puter is on the fritz & I can't open the dang program to DL from my camera. []
