Man, this bow SMOKES!! And stable as a rock to boot, best shooting recurve I've ever had my paws on...sorry 'bout dat 'Ole #1'.

Can you say SHOOTABILITY? I just got it today & it's making the Cloverdale trip w/me tomorrow. YEEOOWW-ZAAAA!

What is a PMAX? Sounds like you like it alot. Try not to break it when you hit Chad in the head with it at Cloverdale.:D

Kip, the PMA is a newer version of Black Widows venerable MA series of TD recurves, & the 'X' suffix denotes the use of exotic wood, like in my new bocote bow. Now I expected a great bow when I dropped the bucks for this thing, but it has far & away surpassed my expectations. Yepper, I think you could say I like it a little bit. Hehehehe.

Move over 'Ole #1', there's a bada$$ new bow in town, & her name is "Hoochie Momma"!!!

Heck, I ain't hitting Chad, that boy is too dang big to mess with! Waittaminit, he has a bum ankle, so surely I could outrun him...Hehehe.

Smitty, the sure fire way to outrun Chad is to run through a blueberry patch. That boy will sit right down and start gobblin' 'em up.

A couple of weeks ago,I shot an older Widow SA II-1st Widow I ever shot in all of these years of shooting recurves & longbows-and now I know what everybody's talking about!I was really,really impressed with it and now I have this uncontrollable urge to get me one.Have fun with your PMAX-sounds like a real nice bow.

Theres got to be less blueberries in Canada now than there was before Chad arrived. He doesn't take time to pick the berries, he just rips the vine up out of the ground and eats the berries like a lollipop.

We all wish you & Debb had been there too, you two were sorely missed. Y'all planning on making it next yr? We stayed at the RV park & plan on doing that from now on. The new bow shoots fantastic (unlike it's owner).

Vic, you don't give yourself near enough credit. Crap, you could get a willer limb and a seagrass string and outshoot most folks--probably have to paint a spider on it first though--lol. Any chance you will be at Athens this weekend?

LOL, thanks Chad...I think!? Hehehe. Heck, I've been in a shooting slump for awhile now, prolly couldn't tell much difference in my scores if I WERE shooting a willer limb. Hehehe. Anyhow, it's all good & this new bow really shoots great! Ole #1 has been sulking, stuck away in a dark corner ever since I got it. It's even crossed my mind to sell Ole....NAAAAAAHH, I think I better not. At least not until the 'honeymoon' w/'Hoochie' is over...:D

Wow Vic I think you almost said sell ol no. one. Kinda like cheating on the ol lady wheeew. I just got ahold of a martin savannah that I am gonna try. To be honest I was shooting better than ever with my widows but after the treatment I got from them I sold them all and have no plans to purchase another.

That misunderstanding still puzzles me Troy, I've been dealing w/BW for nearly 15 yrs & have always been amazed at their easy going nature & willingness to do whatever was in their power to make the customer happy. This most recent dealing was the same...I changed options on the bow several times & even questioned them on a couple things without even a discernable flinch from Mr. Beck or any of the "Widow-workers". IMO they went all out to accomodate me in the most professional & courtious manner. As usual, the entire process was an enjoyable experience (except possibly the wait)...& the end result was the best shooting recurve I've ever owned.

Vic I agree it is a rare thing to hear a complaint about widows customer service. I couldn't believe the way I got treated and was satisfied to see them credit me about 2300.00 back on my credit card for the two bows I had on order and part ways. Chad is working on getting me a Hunter II ordered up soon. Then I will be back in business;)

Momma always told me to never say never. Well, I figured the old bow deserves to be shot & I'm unlikely to be using it much for awhile, plus OT slowdown at work sorta put me behind on my savings for my 'bou trip, so I needed the cash to stay on schedule w/that. Anyhow, I sold 'Ole' to a good friend at work (my boss actually) w/the stipulation that I get 1st shot if he ever decides to get rid of it. Hey, at least it stayed in the USA this time!!

Chad, you know you're welcome to shoot Hoochie anytime dude, & she's a slut so she'll prolly do whatever you want her too >>grin<<, but I sure hope it isn't next April before we can get together again. Hey, did'ja get my snail mail?

Troy, you best get ready for some real eye-candy if Chad & Marc are collaborating on your next bow. I've seen some unbelieveable results from those two putting their heads together, & you already know how good those Chekmates shoot!! Don't see how ya can go wrong man!
