RE: Dick4Bows Help

Jack,
I had him make two bows for me. A Kankakee River longbow and a new one piece recurve that he had designed. The longbow rattled my teeth! More handshock than power. It was a 61# longbow that chronoed at about 146fps. The recurve was slow and very touchy to shoot. Very susepible to bow torque. I gave away the recurve but can't even give the longbow away. Jerry may have gotten better. These bows were bought 6 years ago at least.
Good Luck, Dick

Not to change the subject, but Dick are you coming to Cloverdale this year? I'll be there with the same crew, but two spots this time. Should be in the same tent, but probably a different area of the tent. Give me a holler if you make it--hopefully I'll have a chance to stop and talk a minute this time!
