Vic, I think it will work out just fine. I'm normally a 1 or 2 bow archer. After hunting with a Bighorn for so long, then dropping down in weight... didn't think I'd ever find a low poundage one, they're hard to find!

Been thinking about stirrin' up the mojo on it and practicing a little blasphemy... what do ya call those little stick-on thingys ya put on the side plate? The Fedora likes 'em.

Pinelander, ain't nothing "blasphemous" about them lil sticky things. I know Mr. Asbell preaches against em, but Paul Shafer used em & if it's good enuff for him....

If it works for you, go for it. I rather somebody talk about a little sticky thing on my bow rather than them talk about how I can't hit what I shoot at.

Hehehe Chad, I tried one of those new fangled arry rest thingys one time. Then ppl talked about that AND that I couldn't shoot a lick!

Naaaa, I'm kidding. I have used elevated rests, & killed deer using em. But I was getting a terrible screeeeeeech drawing across the wire arm. I finally figured out how to quieten it down tho. Went back to a rug rest. I have gone back to the K.I.S.S. method of choosing all my bowhunting equipment. It wasn't broke, donno why I was trying to fix it.

My favorite bow is a homemade longbow in the low 50# range. Its a slow bow but it shoots accurately. (But then I'm a patient man, and can wait an extra second before the arrow hits home. An extra second to savor the moment)
My second favorite bow is another homemade bow, a 55# T/D recurve.
Before I made these bows, my favorite was a Bill Stewart T/D.

Happy Hunting
