Stealthy....those are the arrows I got from arrows by Kelly. Mine are 9's and take a 2315. I will foot them soon. I got 2 dozen, I like them. Dark brown Rit Dye worked really well. I wiped it on with a paper towel until it looked like wood grain. I messed em up with the spray polycrylic. Left spots....grrrr. The arrows look tasty and they are heavy.

Good lookin' arras, Stealthy! (See, I can fit right in with this trad stuff! <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>)

They really do look good. Mine are finished, but I haven't yet bought any polyacrylic or gasket lacquer. Soon as the money starts flowing again, I'll coat mine and fletch 'em up.

Did you make a template for your crests? Looks like you did a great job of painting them all in the same exact location...

MQ1shooter - No template. I made several just being creative as I went with patterns and colors. Then when I hit on one I liked, I just used a pencil and kinda made marks where the lines were from the finished arrow to the one that wasn't, and finished them all that way.
