I've always been an OL Adcock fan, since I got my first TD longbow from him. I recently picked up another Adcock - cocobolo riser, tonkin cane limbs, 62" and 63# @ 28" .... now I got two of these bows and couldn't be happier !!

Those are sweet looking bows. The only thing I dont like about them is the price, and the lead time when you order one.

I hear they are pretty fast, any input Stealthy?

They are not quite recurve fast like the ACS limbs he makes now are (which BTW are probably right there with the faster recurves pound for pound and evrything being equal) , but here is my testimony.

I strung that 62" 63# bow yesterday after I got it in, just like it came to me. I shot ICS 500 shafts with tubes that weigh 525 grain and that bow was silky smooth, absolutely shock free and quiet (even at 8.3 grains per inch)

You will rarely see an Adcock for sale, normally someone upgrading to a new limb design or bow and even then they are not common - anotehr testimony to their shootability.

I'm tickled to get a 2nd one for sure. I can only imagine what OL's new 3 piece ACS models do !

I have never seen an Adcock bow in person but the pics sure are beautiful. Looks like great craftsmanship and I understand OL is a super person to deal with.

john49 - yes and yes. OL's bows are the finest in craftsmanship, and a great guy to have build a bow too. Too bad you don't live closer and I'd let ya shoot a couple :)

The biggest testiment for OL's bows I have seen. Stealthy still has them lol
Think you buy and trade more than me lol NICE bows might have tried one but just can't do that kinda wait

I bet I've bought/sold 50-60 bows in the past 2 years .... maybe more ! I've only ever kept 1 bow - and thats my original Adcock 3 piece TD. All others have failed the test to measure up - for me.
