Brackenbury soon to arrive

I did a little swapping and have a unshot 62" 65@28 original Jim brackenbury bow on the way to play with or trade. Here is a pic of it. I will fling a few arrows out of her and see if she is a keeper

Oh, she'll be a keeper all right. Have shot a few in years past. Smooooooth shooters. [8D]

Too bad she isn't a bit lower in poundage, unless of course you're of the big armed/strong shouldered type. :D

ahh the weight is perfect and I am hoping everything I have heard about these bows is true. If so it will be staying in my rack for awhile. Will see how long priority mail takes this time of year[X(]

I've shot faster recurves and smoother drawing recurves, but never one that shot better for me. I've been mourning my Legend ever since I got stupid and sold it.

Troy,

Man you are as bad as I am! You've switched to recurves and now you have a new BW coming and a Brack, too? What else you got in the works?

I had a 64" model once and liked it ... a bit too heavy for me so I traded it but nice, NICE recurve.

Well the Brackenbury arrived tonight. It isn't a original Brackenbury it's a brackenbuy bows bow. It does look unshot and is nice. Laminated bubinga riser with actionwood cores with red elm veneers clear glass. It has a VERY comfortable grip and is nice and smooth on the draw.I have only shot just a few arrows so far and haven't messed with the brace height to find the sweet spot.I have it set at 7 1/2 to start and will work her up and down to find the spot when i settle on a string. Will try to get some pics up later
