I HATED the EZ fletch when I first started using it (Dad bought it a couple years back), but now that I have been using it more often, I like it. I haven't used a Bitz before, so I can't compare. I have a friend with the grayling and it looks like it works well, except his glue control is terrible (all over the place). I might pick up a new fletcher to try next employee shopping night (30% off usually) to see how I like it. One problem with the EZ fletch is it only takes up to a 5" feather, so no 5.5 High backs here. A bit harder to do 4 fletch, but it can be done. I could probably do a 5 or 6 too if I tried, but I don't have the itch to waste that many fletches. Ohh well

for glue line problems get a smaller bottle. Bob Burton at Whispering winds has a slick little bottle..gonna order one here real quick like..or two or three LOL! Also I thin my duco with lacquer thinner, not only because its 2 bucks a bottle but it flows much nicer on the quill.....just works for me anyways!

Man, I love the line in Asbells book when he's talkin about making arrows; "...a big part of it is because it seems to be capable of immersing me, body and soul, up to my armpits, in the witchery of the bow and arrow."*t*

Gotta love it!
