Just got a e-mail from Morrison today that my Dakota is glued up & made weight! He said it should ship late next week! Yooo-hoooooo!!

More to come...you guys are gonna get sick of this! LOL!!

Bill, I got sorta lucky with the lead time. I ordered it mid-January, but Morrison was having a rare slow time then. I'd bet that's changed a bunch since the Kalimazoo show tho!

Tox, it's the same bow, look at the wood grain. Just some sort of weird digital photo flip i guess? Jeff...tell me one more time how stable, quiet, & fast they are please? Man I can't wait!!!!

bad joke, never could figure out how I couldnt convince him for a bou and char hunt! It would be like going to africa during the hunting season to fish hehe! No biggie, gives him another chance to come on up, this time we have a real hide away <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>!

Its pretty so far..believe me I cant wait for more pics....but then again it sure dont look like a widow <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>!

That is a beautiful bow. The throat is gonna have to be trimmed a good bit for you if the Fox fit you very well at all. It is a good bit thinner in the throat and in the palm swell.

It is a jewel, too! Cocobolo and Curly Maple makes for great contrasting woods.

Let us know how it shoots!

Bill, I thought the throat might need narrowing too, but Morrison measured it & it's very near what my widows are, so maybe not. Pictures can be misleading I guess. Anyhow, I got another e-mail from Bob today, the bow hit the weight (60# @ 30&quot;) right on the money, & he's gonna ship it Wednesday at the latest!! He says it's really something special (think he tells that to all the boys? <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>)! Wow..all I can say is WOW!!! More ranting to come no doubt...

Sag, this bow would fit only the very loosest definitions of longbow, if any. I ordered the bow w/a recurve (centershot) riser & it's only 60&quot; &quot;long&quot;. It won't be legal in most longbow competitions, but I'm getting it to hunt with. Hopefully it'll be the best of both recurve and longbow types...at any rate I should know soon.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Well, got another e-mail from Bob Morrison today. He shipped it & said I should have it by weeks end.
