Default What arrows for my recurve?

Just received my Samick Sage with 45# limbs yesterday in the mail. Put probably 20 shots through it so far and it is awesome, I had some Easton Camo Hunters in 2216's and 2016's laying around and tried them out they seem to shoot where i want them but not getting much penetration and there is a noticeable whip on some of the arrows. So just asking for some recommendations on what you guys would try with this set up. Also I'm shooting off the shelf and shooting split fingers with a glove. Thank you

2016 should be fine with a 125 grn field tip.

The 2216's are going to be a little stiff.

I've got some 1916's but they are flu flu fletched. I think a 1916 with a 100 grn field tip is probably best... but I haven't had a chance to shoot one with normal feathers to test that theory.

Thank you ill pick up some 125 grain field points tonight. I also saw somewhere that you want the arrow to not be dead straight with your shelf and set the nock point like a 1/16th higher?

Oh, 1/16th higher... nock arrow below nock point.

Also I switched from split grip to 3 under and it seems to work a lot better for me. Mess around a little, it comes to you pretty quick.
