Glove or tab, arm guard, quiver, arrows that are properly matched to the bow

X2 You should start shooting close while you are getting your mechanics down, its a blast just keep at it. ohh and what you pull on a compound isnt what you want to go with for a longbow.

Good Luck

Yeap....you don't need a lot of "stuff", thats the beauty of it. I would just get what is mentioned above and go from there, just enjoy the shooting! Get familiar with you bow and make changes from there! Most of all, have fun while doing so!

No wheels to worry about and all the high tech, that's the beauty!

Try out a finger tab and glove and see what you like best. Get a nice leather arm guard, and quiver. A nice set of cedar shafts to fit your bow, or whatever you prefer.

Three Rivers Archery has a lot of goodies for the traditional people.

Get your target set up and have some fun. Shoot a lot, and a lot, and alot of arrows this summer. Get into the rhythm. Have Fun!
