Maine Black Bear

I just got back from Portage, ME hunting black bear with Hunter' s Point Guide Service. What a great time and Eldon Jandreau is a great guide. Saw bears from a cub to a 465# boar. Eldon, a longbow hunter, sets his sites up to accomidate for left and right handed shooters.

When the hunt is done, he has a taxidery service too. His work is very impressive. I would highly recommend Hunter' s Point Guide Service and I' m looking forward to going again.

Sorry it' s taken me awhile to reply, this dang computer has a mind of it' s own and works less than my wife. Oops, I shouldn' t have said that. It was a great hunt in Maine. 22 bears harvested that week from 160-465#. The weather was great, 60-70s during the day and 40s at night.

Can' t wait to go again. Maybe I can drag Vic and ole Cob with me. Maybe we should make a plan to hunt there in 2005. What do you think guys?

Dennis
