I have an Apple, but others I've used worked fine also.

I too have the Apple. I forget the actual model designation, but I did get the higher speed one. I'm plenty happy with it.

Arrow Saw: that about killed me

Once considered switching from alums to carbon and shocking found out that I would have to give up my hand hack saw for an extra special arrow saw, priced accordingly.

Son, I'm just a shooter of arrows, and not some specialist.

I'm still thinking of switching. I had a specialty construction saw, which I forgot, used for housing tiles, a job that well paid for the saw. Will need, if necessary, a five dollar blade to cut any carbon arrows.

Son, did I ever tell you how cheap I was. Arrow saw, and the word combination, always gave me the shock treatment.
I think of those dollars just evaporating for a part time tool.

For aluminum I used a small pipe cutter. For carbon this is great-
