Im sold on Black Widow!!!

Got the demo bow in the mail today... Set it up and shot it... It shot like a dream... 6 arrows in a 8" group at 20 yards... Arrows flew like darts!!!

I am by no means a authority on traditional archery but i've been struggeling with this over weighted short bear mag for three summers and to shoot a Black Widow was to me like the difference between night and day!!!

This bow goes back and my personal bow will be ordered ASAP...

In my opinion, long length bows are more forgiving than short length bows. This is why, with my 30" draw length, both of my hunting recurves are 66" in length.

Ken and the boys make some great bows.Years back I got their tour and tuning video along with their wooly booger string silencers and limb tip protectors.Good info in there.I didn't know they loaned out demo bows.Down the road when I have some extra green I'll have to look into that. You can never have to many bows!Which model are you going to buy?

My buddy came to pick his up yesterday, but in the middle of making him a string for it, reserving another string for him, etc. I forgot to shoot it!

He and another friend that came with him did agree on one thing though--a 12 strand padded loop Dynaflight '97 string was noticeably quieter than the 14 strand non-padded loop that came with the bow.

Other than that, he said it shot great--he was very happy with it. It shot well with the "factory" string, just noisier.
