Flemish Strings????

Can you guys tell me what they are and why they are better or worse than regular strings. I have a couple of recurves and I was just wondering. Thanks!

Flemish string are made by using a twist to make the loops-looks almost like a braid. The ones with two or three colos look kinda like a barber pole. The loops aren't served. The advantages are they are usually quieter, the loops are stronger, and of course the just look better--lol. They are also more adjustable than endless. Endless strings are usually a tad faster.
