Thinking of doing Mesquite Limbs with the Pecan as limb butt and tip overlays:biggrin:

Didn't know Pecan was so purdy. Strong as all get out too.

I have never seen Pecan with the tiger stripe so I got a board of it 8' x 4' x 2", I think I should be able to get another couple of risers out of it and maybe a set of limbs:s2:

I forgot to tell ya, I'm going to try to hunt with my recurve this year. After I get some in the freezer first.

Russ, I'd like to but this stupid thing I have called a job is getting in the way. Maybe when the perv moves out, I'll have more room and God willing one day I'll have more time. But yes it would be a good idea what you asked me about the other day. I'd really like to stock up on some Damascus steel first. From now on, all the knives I make will be made out of Damascus steel.
