With the new job I have been as busy as a 1 legged man in a butt kicking contest:biggrin: Not used to actually have to work for 8 hours a day:rolleye0011: and when you figure in the travel it's more like 10 hours:( Have not had much time to build any bows, but I have found a new wood supplier close to home that has a lot of Ossage, Black Walnut, Tiger Stripe Pecan, Mesquite and a tons of other woods for really good prices. I picked up some Mesquite, Ossage and some of the Pecan last Sunday and thinking about making some stock bows at a reduced price compared to the customs, but they will be just plain jane as far as woods go and no antler tips. He has a real nice piece of Eastern Red Cedar out there, I told him if he still has it next time I come out I will buy it:s4: Whats been happening your way mate. Oh the Yarra has started it's second go round also. You know I don't know much about ERC. I see guys make bows out of it. I need to get some 1/8" pieces for accents for my next bow. Russ, next time your there see if that dude has some quartersawn Osage 72" at least 1" thick with straight growth rings and all |

Awesome brother, congrats on the Doe! Sure is nice to break the ice, once again congrats my friend!

Congrats bc , nice looking doe you got their .

Thanks Guys, I appreciate it. Funny story about this doe is, when we went in the corn to find her, they just started cutting it. I do not want to be in the corn when they are cutting it. Its well over 100 acres of corn and you can get confused rather easy. So we got her pulled out before she became dinner for the american food chain.
