Yarra Pass along who's next

Ok, guys, from the sticky, it looks like TexasBowHunter is next, just want to confirm. Since the stickie was not for the drawing. I am going to keep her a few more days and send out. Who's next

BowHuntingFool 07-25-2009 06:45 AM

You can send her to me so I can put my damn name on her!

I think that would be fitting. YOu want to PM me your address? And I will put her in the mail this week.

BowHuntingFool 07-25-2009 10:48 AM

Thanks Mark, but I want the guy next in line to shoot her, I want her during the hunting season so I can spill blood all over her!

Kanga 07-25-2009 12:10 PM

Mark.

Either TexasBowHunter or TxJourneyman.

It by passed Greg so Will could take it on the bear hunt.

Joe.

I'll keep it going till everyone gets a chance to spill some blood.:happy0001:

BowHuntingFool 07-25-2009 02:02 PM

Awesome Russ! Thanks again for the pass around!

bigcountry 07-26-2009 05:09 PM

Well, I gave it my best shot today to get some blood on yarra. I went stumpshooting all evening. I figured a crow, or a crop damage deer. But as soon as i laid one first foot in the forest, I saw a lookout squirrel go in the woods and warn all his forest friends.

BowHuntingFool 07-26-2009 08:04 PM

Damn, those critters sure are fun to loose arrows at?? I can't wait to start hunting the small game in a few more weeks!

Spill the blood!

Schultzy 07-29-2009 07:08 AM

Come on guys!!!! I can't be the only one to spill blood with the deadly Yarra!!!

live2Draw 07-29-2009 11:24 AM

u guys are passing along a yarra to kill things with? lol
I think i am getting back into trad this year, if the bow is still floating late season, maybe i will put my name in the hat for a pheasant hunt with it heheh

Kanga 07-29-2009 12:27 PM

Yeah right like your shooting abilities had nothing to do with it:p:deer::action-smiley-099::party0007:

bigcountry 08-02-2009 01:24 PM

Well, I popped a tree rat, but looked for an hour and couldn't find him. I know I either hit or knocked out of the tree or scared him to death. Couldn't find the arrow either. Oh well, it was fun shooting your bow russ. Its off to TX tomorrow morning.

Kanga 08-03-2009 06:18 AM

Thats a bit of bad luck mate you tried your best.

No worries mate, you'll get another chance on the next go around.

TexasBowHunter 09-03-2009 08:38 AM

Got the bow from Greg day before yesterday, plan to do some practicing for the next week and a half then it's off to the lease for some hog slaying....

She has a smooth draw doesn't she?

Kanga 09-03-2009 05:02 PM

Curtis.

Mate I sure hope ya get something with it so far Steve has the only official kill with it. I did get a feral mouse chaser when I was testing it.:s2:

When you have finished with it, I think it goes back to Joe ( Bowhuntingfool) to start the second go round.:cool2:

Bailsuk 09-06-2009 03:17 AM

Kanga 09-06-2009 07:33 AM

No worries mate she'll be there as a back up for my Bogan.

TexasBowHunter 09-11-2009 07:12 AM

Sweet!!!!

Russ,
Talk about a sweet drawing/shooting bow.... I have been practicing a bit with her and she is a shooter, I will be heading to our hunting land mid next week and I will be looking to put a swine down with her...

Here'a a couple pic's of the first ten erra's out of the yarra at about 18yds.... Not too shabby for a beginning traditionalist!!!! I think it's the bow:biggrin:

Kanga 09-11-2009 12:54 PM

Curtis.

Thats some fine shooting mate.

Talk about a sweet drawing/shooting bow....
Thanks mate but in all honesty the other model I make (Bogan) is the better bow IMHO:s4:

I have 2 Bogan's as my hunting bows, we'll have to get together one week end and you can try them out.

The Bogan is more radical than the Yarra

Schultzy 09-14-2009 05:42 AM

Good luck TBH on getting a hog!!! A great bow It Is!!! The one thing I noticed right away like many others have said also Is how smooth drawing It Is, that really Impressed me!!

TexasBowHunter 09-16-2009 03:01 PM

Heading out in the morning to spend a few days at our hunting land and the yarra will be in tow.... Maybe there will be an un-lucky hog or exotic that will make it's way in front of the yarra and maybe I won't mess it up....

Russ, I need to know who is next on the list as the bow will have to be mailed out first thing Monday morning.... Need an address by then as well....

Thanks again Russ for allowing me to shoot one of your bows!!!!

Kanga 09-16-2009 03:57 PM

Curtis.

From you it goes back to Joe ( BowAHuntingFool ) to start the second go round.

I'll get Joe to PM you his addy.

TexasBowHunter 09-16-2009 04:32 PM

Sounds good Russ, will be looking for his address to come via pm...

TexasBowHunter 09-21-2009 11:12 AM

Well, I let you guys down.... I missed a white sow with the bow.... She wouldn't come in any closer than about 25-28yds... I took a whack at her and at that yardage I psyched myself out and shot over her...

Anyhow, the bow got signed and sent out this morning!!!!

Russ, it was my pleasure to get to shoot the bow.... Thanks again for the opportunity to do so...

Bailsuk 09-21-2009 09:35 PM

Too bad Tex , maybe better luck next time she comes round ;)

Kanga 09-23-2009 05:02 PM

I missed a white sow with the bow
