IVE BEEN INTO COMPOUND BOWS NOW FOR 4 YEARS AND I HAVE DECIDED TO GET A RECURVE BOW, A "JAGUAR TAKE DOWN" BY MARTIN, AND I WAS WONDERIN IF I COULD USE ALUMINEM ARROWS BY EASTON, ILL TAKE ALL TH E ADVICE AI CAN GET B/C I AM NEW AT THIS, TELL ME WAT KIND OF ARROWS YOU WOULD RECOMEND

Depends on the poundage that bow will be. For most people with a 28" draw and drawing 50lbs, 2016 aluminums are just fine. For 45lbs draw, might want to drop down to 1916's, if the bow is heavier or you say have a 30" draw then 2018's.

You can shoot aluminum, carbon, wood, composite, whatever. The big thing, once you get an idea of what you are doing, is to match the arrow spine and mass weight to your bow.

Personally, I have been liking carbons lately (Beman MFX Classic) just because I don't go through as many of them. But really, shoot whatever type you'd like. As far as the bow, for starting, I'd say go with something around 40-45 pounds at your draw length. Personally, I shoot 51#'s at 30 inchesrightnow and after shooting for a while even at that weight, itdoes effect my form. My next bow will around 45# though. FWIW I have had bows all the way up to74#'s.

I have a Martin Hunter recurve-65@28".Back when I shot aluminum 2216 worked best.These days I shoot carbons.The ones I have were made by Cabelas-2300 but these have been discontinued.Not sure what would be their equivalent.The best size for you depends on your bows draw weight at your actual draw and how clean your release is.
