....that this thing belongs in the archery season.......although I wouldn't mind playing with one, maybe even using one in the rifle season or just to shoot targets with.

50 yd "single hole accuracy", 400+ fps, cocked and ready to shoot in less than 20 seconds, fits the lower reciever of an AR-15.....yep, it's a bow. :eek:
Seems like someone said, not too long ago, as soon as the profit margin warrants it, gobs of money will be spent on x-bow r&d, and no telling what they will come up with. Who wants to bet that within the next 3-5 years that thing is considered to be a "dinosaur", because it's so "outdated"? Chad |

I am not against xbows in anyway but that thing is ridiculess and for the money they are asking without the AR15 section is just plain stupid but I guess there are some out there with more money than brains.;) |

Not all crossbows are bad, imo.
Robin Allen makes the most beautiful and best customhuntingcrossbows of all time. He builds his own limbs, stocks,and stringsmuch like any recurve or Longbow maker. |

Yep, and now that x-bows are legal in Texas during archery and general seasons someone will be out there with one without a doubt!

Woohoo I own a xbow and in Texas...I'm out this like a fat kid on a cookie! Yeah right there's folks on this sight have turned me to bowhunting and I have rifle hunted my entire life,no problem with xbows...I shoot mine in theyard goofing around would chase rabbits with it.I'm too proud of what little skill I have gained with a bow to pursue larger game witha the xbow.

Chad....I can agree with you. I don't think it belongs in archery season, but man it sure is a sweet piece of weapontry. I'd love to have one just to play with, even though they are legal to hunt with in TN.
