I was bored. What can I say? She' ll eat good. Anybody got a good recipe for groundhog?

John,

I' ve seen some Vietnamese Mountainards in South-eastern Minnesota using the stick up the rear and over the fire method. It' s preetty simple really. Just stick a long stick up the varmint' s rear (Whole and un-skinned) and cook over an open fire until done. Just peal and eat! I haven' t tried this method myself but.... Good Luck! Dick[X(]

I' m sure it would work fine for the mountaniards, but what about the groundhog?

Pressure cook the older tougher ones and then make a stew out of them. THe younger ones can be cooked up just like a rabbit. I' ve ate plenty of woodchucks. I really enjoy hunting them and can' t see leaving them out there when there is plenty of good eating in a woodchuck.
