Humble Beginnings

Ok, she was a fine hickory tree in my yard, but now she mine. Been drying about 4 months. Decided to at least rough her up a bit and floor tiller her.

And if she survivesmy tiller tree, and thats a big if, she will be called stonewall.

Still waiting for my boo. I am going to take the boo pretty slow on the barrel taper and try to get it right.

I still havent' cut the belly taper yet.I have no idea why I do this, but I got alot of irons in the fire.

In 1 way it is but other ways it's not;)

This is a new customer for me and he took me by surprise when he ordered 12 ( lucky I was sitting down):D

Said he had been looking for a Bowyer for almost 2 years to make him dedicated bows but no one would do it. The only problem is I cant use the same wood combos on other bows, but hey thats no big dealthere's a ton of different woods out there:)

He claims he is going to keep me busy for a long time;)

Bob, if you are ever in the MD Pa area, I have a bunch of hickory staves and even black locust. Your more than welcome to have one.
