String silencers on long bows?

Ive got to the point to where I dont use any string silencers on my longbows. With a decent weighted shaft, ive found no need. My recurves, I still use something light like cat whiskers, but on my long bows, ive found no need. The last 4 + deer ive shot with a longbow, had nothing on it.

I use Beaver Balls.

Cause IMHO they look cool:D

I also have some Muskox wool silencers as well but have not put them on a string yet.

I am having trouble with my zipper making a lot of noise. I put cat whiskers on it, and planning a hush kit to be on the curves.

But I agree,if one plays a little bit with brace and shoots 11gr/lb draw, it makes a world of difference.

I've had some real quiet longbows but I still put cat whiskers on them
