Im sick.

I was out in the shop last night, putting the finishing touches on a bamboo backed ipe bow that I had just finished tillering. Had it all tillered and was shaping tips and grip and doing all the pretty work on it. I had it set across two of my tables when I tripped and fell pulling two full drawers from my tool chest on top of the bow. It had to look like a slap stick commedy. Need less to say, the bow didn’t make it.The two drawers couldnt of fallen any better to snap the tip off of the bow. It was one of those surreal moments that seem to go in slow motion. I trip, grab at the tool box to stop me from falling, the tools fly in the air, and snap. This bow was not for me, so I had to cut out another piece of ipe and flatten some more boo to glue up another tonight. I’m not a happy camper right now. So, learn from my mistake. I had an extension cord dangling from a work bench, that my dremal tool was plugged into, that grabbed my leg as I walked by. Arrrrgggggggg.[:@][:@][:@][:@]

It is when the ends are braced between two tables, and about 100 + lbs of tools land in the middle of the limb. It didnt break all the way threw, but pulled splinters up on the boo and the ipe, just far enough down the limb to where piking was not an option.[:@][:@]
