Well it's that time of year again,guess that I'll put in for a mulie tag in Wyoming again and maybe a cow elk tag there also as I might be able to draw one according to a gal that i talked to in the DNR,she said tht my chances of drawing a bull tag were slim and none. Got invites to hunt whitetails in so. Iowa and Ill. but as the non. res. lic. costs in both these states is now around $300.00 (plus draw in Iowa)-I think I,ll hunt the mountains while I still can-here's hoping that all your hunting dreams come true this year--Cam <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

Merriams turkeys in South Dakota. Probably haul out the Remington for that, but may try bow for a second turkey if I am lucky enough to kill the first.
Will send in for the Maine Moose lottery again, but I don't expect to be drawn.
Planning on an over the counter Elk tag in Colorado. Trying to decide if we want to try a drop camp or go it on our own again.
And of course I will hunt Whitetails and Turkeys in Gods country here in Southern IL, and anything else that I manage to find time for.
Most everything will probably be with the old reliable Hoyt, but maybe I'll fall in love with the recurve enough to never put it down. I think I've decided on a CheckMate Falcon.

Every year I tell myself to apply for Elf and Bear here in Michigan. Never do, though. You would think working at a place that sell licences, I would remember. I kinda hope I don't get a bear tag, I am not ready. Hopefully i will just build up the preference points. Elk would be sweet though. How cool would that be to take a Michigan elk with my recurve. I would get out the 7mm if time was running out. Michigan elk tags don't grow on trees. Might even try to hunt turkey, even though I hate the things. I don't really believe in hunting for revenge. Darned things mess up my 3d scores. Been TRYING to call in coyotes, but they aren't cooperating. Been using a shotgun for that though. Going to try to get some arrows and join a 3d league. Looking foward to bowfishing this summer, last hunting I will get to do before college.
