String for older Bear Kodiak??

I have an old Bear Kodiak 45# 60"(still looks new!) that is in need of a new string...I was just going to throw a string on my next cabelas order for it so I can plink with it....

Do I get Dacron or FF????

Is it silly to go that route for a new string??

Also I was curious since I have a bunch of CE 4560 terminators that I got from a garage sale that need refletched, would they bea good choice for shooting through this bow, or do I need a heaver arrow??

Thanks

I believe your old bear is NOT a FF bow! Get in touch with LBR(member here) he will advise you in the right direction and even make you the string! Get a custom made string for it, not expensive and they look cooler!:)

YEs, you need a Dacron. I know people that use FF on those bows though and do not have problems. I don't know if I would try it though. Definetely ask Chad (LBR)to make you one. You can order them from his on his site at www.recurves.com.
