Ok we are back in business I have the first set of lams in the oven for another 30 minutes or so then I can glue them up and hopefully have a limb

But first I had to tape up the glass then mark the center for cutting.

Once cut in 1/2 so I now have 4 pieces 36" long.

Then I carefully measured and drew the center line.

Next is the screw up oooppps I mean glue up

Oh come on man give me some credit.

It was atleast 15 minutes

Actually I got home at 7.20am this mornin so I put in a good 3 hours

Ok here are the lams ready for glue up.

They are now in the oven and due to come out nice and crispy in 4 hours

While I was at it I also glued in the threaded section for the limb bolts into the riser.

So now it is nap time

Chad

We have a little problem.

The first limb is done cut and shaped string grooves cut.

I took the tape off to find this.

The Leopardwood split while it was in the form and in the heat box[:@]

There is about a 1/8" gap in the Leopardwood that was not there when I put it in the heat box.

I dont have anymore Black Walnut either so I will redo the limbs in Shedura and Massaranduba Redwood.

I'll do my best to get it there before Christmas.
