I'm having a hard time visualizing how the string is hitting your left shoulder. I also have an ASAT 3D leafy suit (which is phenomenal) and have never had a problem hitting that area, it's pretty far away from the string's path.

Perhaps it points to a form issue? Can you try rotating your left elbow out away from the bow at full draw?

However, if you you're shooting good, I'd just leave the suit at home this close to the hunt. Work on form later.
Now that you mention it, it's more likely that it's catching the "leaves" on my chest. All I know is that I hear the popping sound of the string whipping the leaves when I release.

Actually, I'll probably just abandon the 3-D suit for the trad hunt. That seems to be the least amount of trouble. Besides, it's not you guys who'd be giving me a hard time for using hose for hunting - it's my wife. She was a Senior Chief Engineman (diesel mechanic) in the Navy, and she'd never let me live it down.
Impressive Chief!!
Yeah, I guess. She can't even fix a lawnmower.[8D]

I have to fix anything mechanical around the house. I once toldher (jokingly, of course) that she must have slept her way to the top because she sure is one sorry mechanic.:D (It's a good thing I can outrun her):D:D

Yep, that was it. I just did some shooting and if I lean forward as was stated and lean right a little, the string clears the leafy material down the length of my arm. (It also keeps the string from slapping my wrist quite as much. Here's hoping it all comes together in the morning. Thanks for the advice guys.

Why would someone tell you to aim low? Curious Is all.
