R/D Finished.

Ok been a busy day working on the R/D bow, finally got the limbs pulling even so I decided to get her done today.

Here she is hanging with the first coat of polly on.

I decided to go with Zebrawood for the tip and center overlays.

Cocobolo riser with Yellowheart, Buginga and Purpleheart center accent strips running vertical.

Side view of the Cocobolo.

The Zebrawood center overlay.

The limb colors are Bubinga on the front and Purpleheart on the back of the limbs;)

I will take some more pics tomorrow in the daylight;)

It shoots real good and fast, fast enough for me to zip an arrow just over the top of the target and off into never be seen again land:D

Any strung side profile pics?
Nope forgot to take one, will have to do that next time I go to the shop, it's hanging on the wall there with the TD as display models;)

As long as there are pics I don't care what the next project is!:D

I seriously need to start doing some research on Trad bows. Any good recommendations on books/websites? I'm thinking about a recurve, probably 45 lbs to start with - and maybe just find a cheapo for that one. And then get something a bit nicer after I get decent with that.

Russ, I was thinking I'd missed the side profile pics of her strung and unstrung. Any chance you have any you could post?

I've found those notes work best if you write on them before sticking them up :)
